MACRO-Armor systems build upon advanced and proven composite technologies developed for MACRO-Lite commercial composites. Our solutions range from lighter weight build-to-print alternatives for existing armor to custom tailored protection, interface design, documentation, and other sustainment activities. Currently, MACRO-Armor systems are in service on over eleven military and commercial platforms.
Proven Performance
MACRO-Armor systems can be configured for any protection requirement, have excellent flammability properties, and can be integrated into existing structures for maximum weight savings. MACRO Armor is exhaustively tested according to MIL-STD-810, DO-160 along with custom methods, and possesses superior durability and stability in comparison to other common armor materials.
Proven Experience
MACRO Industries, Inc. has been developing custom armor products since the late 1990’s. MACRO fielded numerous armor systems for the US Army, US Air Force, US Navy, and Marines. Past contracts included armor development, production, installation, and sustainment activities direct to government program offices as well as commercial aircraft prime contractors.
